Why The Philippines Will Shine Brighter This Year

The Philippine Stocks Exchange Index has broken the 6,500 level today and this gets better and better everyday. If you have been investing in stocks or equity mutual funds then you must be benefiting from this as well. Lower inflation rate."] The year-to-date rate of inflation is at 3.2%. On a side note, your investments performance should be greater than 3.2% because if not, then you must consider moving your money to another kind of investment.[divider] [impt text="3. Interest rates have dropped to historic lows."] Overnite rates are now in 3.5% while 91-day Treasury bill rate is in 0.05%. 10-year bond rate and prime lending rates are in 4.36% and 5.31% respectively.[divider] [impt text="4. Both business and consumer confidence remains at all-time high."] It means business owners as well as consumers have a positive outlook to what the year has to offer both.[divider] [impt text="5.
